June Z. Green Sr.

June Z. Green Sr., born on April 1, 1951, was raised in Richmond, Virginia. He was the beloved son of Lawrence and Lavinia Green.

From an early age, June found joy in creativity and sound. He loved to draw, expressing himself through his artwork, and he enjoyed listening to music, which brought him comfort and inspiration throughout his life. Those who knew him will remember his creative spirit and the quiet passions that brought him happiness.

June was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lavinia Green; his wife Maxine Cheatham Green; his sons, Jarmon Green and June Z. Green; and his grandchild, Zacki Rozier.

He leaves behind his loving children: Jade Cheatham, Janesha Green, and Javonte Green; his siblings; Faith Woods (Milton), Darlene Robinson (Anthony), Priscilla Green, and Heath Green (DeVonda); his cherished grandchildren: Miya Cheatham, Markiya Cheatham, Marissa Henderson, Malaysia Forbes, Kailyn Jackson, Kaiden Jackson, Keytoine Towles, Zacquane Towles, June Green III; and his beloved great-grandchildren: Zaniya and Nasir Towles. He also leaves extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and carry him in their hearts always.
